The American Revolution (1775 to 1783) was a most significant event in American history and you may be wondering if you had an ancestor involved in the events. We will be discussing how to organize your research and the important documents required to provide relevant information. We will review the importance of birth, marriage & death records as well as the major records for military service, pension awards, and bounty-land warrants, while providing suggestions to solve “brick wall” situations that sometimes impede our research.
